Big Support, Bigger Possibilities

Emily is the founder of Big Ability and a passionate expert for NDIS participants. With over 6 years of experience in the NDIS sector, including roles as an NDIS reviews officer and a paralegal, Emily has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of disability supports. She specialises in housing, SIL/SDA applications, hospital discharges, NDIS reviews, AAT appeals, and forensics. Working with participants who have conditions such as Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), stroke, Autism, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, physical disabilities, and complex neurological conditions.

Emily holds a Masters in Criminology, a Mental Health First Aid certificate, and is currently completing a Diploma of Counselling ACA accredited. Her knowledge in navigating the NDIS system, particularly around reviews and Tribunal Appeals (ART), allows her to provide expert guidance and practical solutions, helping participants navigate the complexities of the system and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside of her professional life, Emily is an avid dog lover, with two young pups who keep her active and entertained. Passionate about adventure, you will often find her hiking a mountain or two, including in the Himalayas of Nepal.

Emily’s dedication to helping others, combined with her extensive NDIS knowledge, makes her a trusted partner in guiding participants towards a life of infinite possibilities.
